national and regional experts gathered for the first-ever conference in the Rogue Valley
on the important topic of pesticides, people, pollinators, and the planet!
This groundbreaking event brought together members of the community for a day of insightful and educational experiences that supported and encouraged environmental justice and advocacy.

WHEN: Friday, April 15, 5 pm to 7 pm, $20 (21 and over)
WHERE: Southern Oregon University’s Hannon Library (Meese Room)
With special guest Phyllis Stiles, Executive Director and founder of Bee City USA, we will share our vision for creating a Pollinator Buzzway throughout our Valley & beyond. Bee City USA is a national nonprofit based in North Carolina.

WHEN: Saturday, April 16, 8 am to 5 pm, $10 (students free with valid ID)
WHERE: University's Stevenson Union (Rogue River Room)
We will kick off the day with a keynote address delivered by Kim Leval, Executive Director of the Northwest Center for Alternatives to Pesticides. The day-long conference includes six panels, interactive workshops, and a networking lunch.
