About the event

More than thirty community organizations and sustainability-minded businesses will be hosting exhibits featuring education and opportunities for action Many will also participate in the “Earth Day Ecoquest” where you can win prizes for completing activities at designated booths!Ashland Food Co-op will be hosting a “play zone” in the ScienceWorks plaza, where there will be activities for all ages! Chalk art, games, and more!

Siskiyou Oregon Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Association (SOHEVA) members will display their EVs at the electric vehicle showcase, and answer questions on their electric driving experiences. Green Cars of Lithia Motors will offer test drives/rides for a true EV experience. Register to participate!Kids of all ages who bring their bikes to the event can take a spin around the “bike rodeo” hosted by RVTD. Learn and practice bike safety and ride the course!Need a break from all the action? A quiet zone will be located in the ScienceWorks geodesic dome. Earplugs, snacks, seating, and quiet activities are available for anyone who needs a more relaxing atmosphere.

Live entertainment will be featured throughout the event on The Farm’s Thalden Pavilion stage. Previous performances included Elbow Room Taiko, The Creekside Strings, the Oregon Center for the Arts Salsa Band, and more! Check back in April 2024 for a complete lineup and schedule of performances for this year’s event!

 ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum, The Farm’s next-door neighbor and a valued partner of SOU, is offering extended hours (open until 7:00 pm) and free afternoon admission on the day of the event! ScienceWorks is fun for all ages!

Please help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and walk, bike, skateboard or take transit to this event!

Parking information will be updated closer to the event. On-site parking for people with disabilities or limited mobility will be available, as well as on-site “bike valets” offering secure bicycle parking.

If you walk, bike, or carpool to the event, stop by the Rogue Valley Transportation District (RVTD) exhibit, and you can get *two* bonus Ecoquest tokens to be used toward Ecoquest prizes!
