Join us for another amazing butterfly walk and talk on Mt. Ashland with David Lee Myers!
Maxium of 15 participants.
Times subject to change.
We will meet in a central location to carpool to Mt. Ashland. Location provided following registration.
We will see a dozen or more butterfly species in just a few hundred yards along the meadow west from the Mt. Ashland campground, walking the road through sulphurflower, lupine, and more. To be followed by an exploration of additional habitats on the Mt. Ashland summit, a seep on the way to Grouse Gap, and hillsides a little beyond.

Bring lunch, beverage, hat, notebook, camera. A net if you have one. Wear layers and trail shoes.
About David Lee Myers:
“I photograph in fascination with the natural world and our awareness and perception of it, to share through love of light and lens.” David has chased, studied, and photographed butterflies since 1986, authoring Wings in the Light: Wild Butterflies in North America, Yale University Press. He has presented on citizen science to the American Association for the Advancement of Science. His current focus is on the food plants for butterfly caterpillars.
