Join PPRV's own Kristina Lefever for a class focused on learning about this region’s pollinators and the native plants they depend upon, and how each of us as landowners/ stewards can create a vibrant ecosystem for pollinators and people. We will convene at Pollinator Project Rogue Valley’s office in Phoenix for a tour of the demonstration garden then walk along the Bear Creek Greenway to PPRV's Children’s Learning Garden Blue Heron Park to identify native pollinator friendly plants and pollinator habitats. The goal of this interactive class is to get participants thinking about urban and suburban spaces for pollinators and people, as well as their own landscape and neighborhood.
Physical Level: Easy (car travel with short stops, up to 1 mile of walking)
Ages 18+ welcome.
