Do flower petals have patterns that serve as guides for bees?  

Do they know where to collect pollen?  As bees move among flowers, they transfer the pollen which allows plants to produce seeds and flourish.  Using microscopes and UV lights, you will dissect a flower and learn the parts that bees need to find to collect their pollen.
