About the event

Let's Collect Camas Seed! 

With Tuula Rebhahn & Kathryn Prive of the Rogue Native Plant Partnership 

We'll learn about and collect Camas seed, utilizing best practices to identify and harvest ripe seed. No experience necessary and all ages welcome. Dogs are allowed but the park requires leashes.

15 Maximum

Please note: Difficulty is Moderate, with less than 3 miles of hiking, less than 700 ft’ elevation gain, with uneven terrain and open meadow/no shade

Wear comfortable walking shoes and appropriate sun protection. Bring your lunch and plenty of water. Seed collection materials will be provided.

Tuula Rebhahn & Kathryn Prive are Co-Coordinators of The Rogue Native Plant Partnership, a collaborative effort between habitat restoration non-profits, land management agencies and seed growers.
